Disposal of products

The technological advances and the sunshine that Madagascar offers are conducive to the development of the solar market and allow accelerating access to electricity in Madagascar, especially in rural areas, through the distribution of solar lamps and home systems. However, the use of solar products implies the proliferation of electronic waste leading to the occurrence of new environmental and social challenges. To this effect, OMDF has established obligations and recommendations to manage the waste from discarded products.
